The United Way Community Center in south Provo has seen incredible results from focusing on human connection.

  • South Provo once had the highest 9-1-1 call rate in the city. The Community Center helped neighbors get to know each other better and spend more time in the same place; as a result, call rates dropped.
  • When instructors spent one-on-one time with the students at the Community Center, 71% of students improved their reading level.
  • To improve financial stability, volunteers connected with 60 adults to teach them computer skills.
  • Many of the families who attend the United Way Community Center are immigrants and participate in community integration classes.

Your donation to a United Way Community Center could open doors to programs like:

Digital Inclusion
(computer literacy classes)

Summer learning programs for children

English and Spanish classes

Art/music/dance programs
available for all ages

… and much more!

United Way Community Centers are for YOU!

Connection benefits all of us, regardless of where you live or who you are. In addition to your donation, we invite you to come to one of the United Way Community Centers where you can meet, help, and serve alongside your neighbors.
